1955 Gibson ES-125(D) $900 Local Only

Sign in to disble this ad
Gibson ES-125 archtop, has no structural issues or repairs other than some of the binding has been glued back in place. Plays great with quite low action, and has a had a setup in the past 6 months. The hardware and electronics are not original, I believe the P90 pickups are from StewMac, and I'm almost certain the bridge pickup has been added to match the ES-125D's specs as the second pickup wasn't added until 1956, though its a completely pro job. Truly incredible tone and playability from this guitar for jazz, blues or raw P-90 rock tones, it's surprisingly resistant to feedback for a fill archtop.

includes non-original case. Really want a local sale for this in the Boston area.

Bumping this after hesitating to sell for a while, I'd do $875 shipped to Lower 48 super well packed incl. hard case. Just set this up and resolved some tuning stability issues, this guitar now plays and sounds so very awesome. This guitar+tubescreamer clone+old vibro champ= Nasty McRediculous. Feel free to ask questions via PM...
