1958 Hammond M-3, Blond, Austin-area only

SOLD 2/9

Hi, I just bought a second Hammond, so I am looking to part with this beautiful blond Hammond M-3 built in 1958. All the keys on the the two manuals and all the tablets and pull bars function as they should. The bass pedals however have a loud overtone and will need a little work if you want to use them. I'm told this is not very expensive or difficult to repair, and that it's probably a couple of solders broken during an earlier move, but I cannot vouch for that.

I have the original bench too, though it is need of repair (wood glue and clamps).

Local pickup in Austin only, please.

I'll consider trades for music gear, or would like to get $350 cash for the organ. Thanks.

I have a '57. Sweet sounding organs and a great addition to any household. Green Onions!

No, this one is just wired for the internal speaker, though the Leslie kits are readily available. Thanks for inquiring.

It does sound nice though. My mother came over tonight to have dinner with the family, and she was playing old-time gospel tunes from the Broadman Hymnal on it. She had everybody -- even the heathens -- singing along.

The other one's an M-3 as well -- It's from 1961, non-blonde and not as clean cosmetically, but it has a Leslie kit already and an Electro-Tone Duet Sixteen preset kit, plus a cool engraving on the metal near the upper keyboard that reads "Faith Assembly of God, Pasedena, Texas" that I think is pretty cool.

Bump for a beaut. I had a mint 1955 M3. Nothing else sounds like these gems. All you have to do is add the Leslie interface and the add on percussion kit and you've got a baby B3.

I love me my M-3.

Consider that no company will ever again make another electromechanical tonewheel organ like this. EVER! These vintage Hammonds are all that is left.

This is a good price and someone needs to buy this.

I think a lot of people would love to buy this . . . except it ain't cheap trying to ship a 350 lb crate across the U.S. and not everybody lives close enough to the OP to pick it up themselves.

That thing is in great shape though.
