| 1973 Les Paul Custom For Sale or MAYBE Trade Hey Everyone,
I'm posting this up for a friend, it's not MY guitar but I'm doing this as a favor to help someone out, I've got access to the guitar and can answer all questions you might have! So anyway...
This is a 1973 Black Les Paul Custom. It's only to it's second owner as of 1990, Mahogany body and neck, it was originally a "fretless wonder" as Gibson called it, and it was professionally re-fretted by a guitar luthier in Atlanta. Cosmetically this guitar is a little beat up, the back of the neck has some rashes on it, there are about 3 dings on the side around the output jack, and some of the paint on the bridge is starting to chip. Truss rod and all the hardware on it are in working condition though, as evidence by the pictures it does have wear and tear on it, but still DEFINITLEY an awesome guitar. The tuners on it are waffle back Grovers, made to look just the stock tuners. The stock ones don't work well but will be included on the sale, but as stated they don't really function properly. The only other non-stock object on the guitar is the EMG 81 pickup in the Bridge position in this guitar (the neck pickup is still stock). Other than that this is a genuine Kalamazoo Gibson Les Paul, definitely a rare find and it's a really awesome guitar.
The asking price on this is $2500 (comes with an SKB Hard Case, or Original Hard Case (which is pretty beat up) and the machine heads), and the only thing that we will trade this for is an ESP Custom Shop M2 or Jeff Henneman (Custom Shop). Please feel free to ask questions or contact me here! More pictures available upon request and we will take pictures of anything on it you would like to see! Thanks for looking! |
