1979 Rhodes 73 Stage Piano Mark 1

i drive an 89 vw cabriolet.. and unfortunately my car isnt big enough to bring the rhodes anywhere... so you will have to come to me.. or i can ship it (probably for between 150 and $200 for ups ground)


been completely refelted, replaced tines that needed it and it was tuned.

This magical 73 plays awesome. Great action.


Comes complete with all four legs and the complete sustain pedal.

keys are all super clean. This is the mark 1 from 1979 so it has the more desirable half plastic/half wood beaters.

I thought this would be something we would use in the band.. but we dont and need to upgrade some of our other gear.. So. this history piece of wizardry has to go..


I dont actually play.. but i had this hooked up to my m13 the other day with a couple delays and a reverb and it sounded like a heard of unicorns started a band in my house.

it really is an amazing sounding instrument.

worked my way down the keys.. then sustained a couple notes then turned the volume knob and the bass knob to show how clean this sucker is.
(keep in mind i dont play at all.. so excuse my sloppiness)

sounds way better coming out of an amp obviously..

the guy i bought it from was playing it out of a mid 50s leslie cab.. which was utterly amazing

The guitarist in my band is in the market for a Dual Rectifier head with a mesa cab..

i would trade straight up for that setup to help him out.

I would also trade straight up for a solid Orange Bass setup..
