I need to clear up space in the driveway before wintertime so here it goes... She's a 1980 Chevy El Camino with 103k miles on the body and about 4k since the engine swap. Good for 14-20 mpg as a daily driver in the hot or cold.
Engine: 1968 Chevy 327 (#3914678) bored .060 over good for about 330 hp with a retune, 300 now. Crane Street Grind Cam, Hedman headers, New Catalytic Converter, Thrush Mufflers, Edelbrock Performer Intake manifold, Edelbrock 1406 Performer Series Carburetor w/electric choke -- 600 CF/Min, Delco-Remy High Energy Ignition. Mated to a stock auto 3 speed THM250C with bands tightened to go with engine swap. Chirps second at 55 mph.
Recent work: fresh oil (rotella 5w40), brakes bled, new plugs, new air filter, new valve cover gaskets, exhaust gaskets replaced, header repaired, and exhaust joints resealed. Has good tires (2 years old, about 2000 miles)
Semi-recent work (2007): Ziebart undercoated, Rhino Lined, New gas tank, new speedo cable, new windshield, new headliner and visors, and new dash cover installed
Stereo: 4.1 speaker with Pioneer DEH 2100 head unit, 12" Dual subwoofer and 460w amp
Problems: carb needs retuned (it's running rich), air shocks are blown, window seals are bad, and hvac only works on defrost (vent or heat)
$13k invested over the last 10 years. I'd trade for a wrecker/tow truck, maybe musical gear, motorcycle, or ???. Make an offer. Worst I can do is day no.
