'66 Ampeg Gemini II

In great condtion. Some corrosion on chrome, but not bad. Recent cap and 3 prong job. Excellent tubes. Sounds great with NOS Jensen C4 installed. Have EM 1500 for reconing if wanted.

Never played one of these but I'm interested... How is it with bass? I'm looking for a studio amp that can handle Bass at low volumes as well as guitar. Thx!

The open back design of this cab makes it not ideal for bass. I could equip it with a square mag CTS which would be better for bass than the Jensen. Either way you could dial in a good bass sound, but it would have to be at very low volumes. The preamp section is known for its brightness. Great guitar or keyboard amp.

Really, I'd rather play guitar through a B-15 than to try to use a Gemini as a regular bass amp.
