Vintage set of humbuckers in excellent condition. I think the leads were replaced at some point - everything I can find on the net says they came with braided wire covering instead of the gray plastic. There's some minor pitting on the covers and a little rust on the screws. They were pulled out of a 1971 Gibson SG Deluxe and the bridge reads 7.59 ohms and the neck reads 7.62 ohms. All of the research I've done on these indicates they are period correct for the '68-'74 Gibsons.
I bought them to put in a '75 Flying V but the V got sold and the pickups wound up in a '78 Les Paul. Needless to say they sounded phenomenal! However, the Les Paul was put back to stock and sold and these have been just sitting around. I paid $400 for them on ebay a while back and realize I probably won't get $400 out of them in this economy, so I'll consider any reasonable offer.
I'm always up for a good trade too and am interested in bass gear and FX pedals. Send me some offers! ajd1221 AT live.com or PM me. Thanks!
EDIT: I'm really interested in a Dark Star or vintage Fender Precision pickup.
