Hello,
I have been itching to try one of these for a long time, and when one came up for sale locally, I couldn't resist. These are rare and hard to come by. I believe they were manufactured in 1980, and were one of the first programmable drum machines. All analog sounds, simple, and really a fun thing to use. There's a wealth of literature online and some well done youtube videos, which I recommend checking out. I'm a drummer, and had a fantasy of looping programmed drum beats and playing over them. I like the idea of straying away from synthetic sounds in my music. I like challenging myself, and there's so much out there right now dripping with a digitized aesthetic. This was attractive to me because it doesn't have that cheesy, digital flavor to it. Plugging this into a bass amp turned out to be really cool, tweaking the bass levels to manipulate the kick drum. Really cool stuff.
I'm glad I was able to indulge myself on this, and I'd like to let someone else enjoy it. It's in shockingly excellent condition. There is a small engraving near the battery cavity, but that is it in terms of cosmetic issues. Everything works perfectly and is intact. I'd like to get 200 shipped. As usual, I'm not sure how to post pictures, so send me a PM and I will send some your way. Thanks!
