Chill dude. Seriously.

I have three threads on HC because they won't let me do more than 10 pics per page. The pickups you want and the hardware the guy replied to the thread on are on two different threads. I got PMed on a thread about the pickups, and someone posted a PMed thread on the thread with hardware. Check HC, and you will see.

The guy who PMed me about the pickups responded before you did. Sorry. No need to get worked up.

I've been doing parts sales on TB since 2003, and no probs and anyone can attest.

Its hard to say...
sometimes I immediately PM the seller, then post in the thread later that I've "pm-ed".

I doubt he would try to mess with anyone over $20 in guitar parts. Posting and selling can be tedious, especially since ya have to photograph, edit, describe, post, edit...etc.

I am all for giving somebody the benefit of the doubt.

And yes, I have been that guy who clearly thought I was the first responder on something only to see it "sold" to somebody else.

I lived to tell the tale though, so it wasn't as bad as I thought at the time.

I've known Jive1 for 6 years and know him to be a
stand up guy. His feedback speaks for itself.

I have bought from him in the past and WOULD NOT HESITATE
to do more business with him in the future. Just my .02.

I was waiting for a response from the other PM I received before getting back to you. I understand that folks aren't online 24/7 so I give a little time for responses.

I didn't agree to sell to you, so I didn't sell anything out from underneath you. Until I agree to sell, there is no agreement. I have the right to sell to someone who wants the whole lot, or is local, or whatever. But on this one, if anything, I was doing my best to adhere to first come first served. Sorry, you weren't the first.

The fact that you bash me on TB and HC over $20 worth of parts is petty, if you ask me. Do you think someone is going to pay more than I ask for some spare parts with no vintage value? I sell basses that cost thousands with great customer satisfaction. Why would I go messing around on $20 worth of parts that I'm just trying to get rid of?

It's just $20 worth of spare parts, that you are making yourself look like a sore loser and draggin my name in the mud over. It's not worth it.

You'd think I'd found an original 50s Gibson PAF that I was selling for $20. As they say, one man's junk....................
