computer memory--Mushkin and Micron

Hello folks,

in an effort to upgrade my girlfriends computer, i bought several of the wrong memory sticks...

memory stick number one--
Mushkin 990841
512 mb
PC2100
more info here
used once, found out it didn't work and put it back in the box!
$40 plus shipping

memory stick number two (and three)--
two sticks of
micron MT18VDDT3272G-265B3
256 mb each
DDR
ECC
more info here
only used once...same story as the mushkin memory!
$30 for both of them plus shipping

FYI next time you need to buy memory check this site out

http://www.crucial.com/

Put in the make an model of the pc or motherboard and they will tell you the ram you need, great shipping and service. It can save you a lot of time and heartache next time.
