It's only been in a guitar for about 5 months. No scratches or anything. Sounds awesome! It's got a little more punch and twang than a Stratocaster pickup. It gives a little bit of a tele tone to a strat, without losing the smoothness of a strat. Can be used in any position, but sounds best in the bridge.
White cover, but I'm not sure how these covers fit on the actual pickup. When I have the cover on, the pole pieces do not come through the cover. So I'm not entirely sure it fits right. No mounting screws either. sorry
