DW Satin Speciality Finish Cherry Black Fade - Date: March 16th 2001

4 Piece Kit in F.A.S.T sizes: 22"x18", 12"x9", 14"x11", 16"x13"

I bought this kit used almost 20 months ago. I hardly ever played out with it, I only recall ever having to move it from my house about 4 or 5 times. It's spent the last 15 months of it's life sitting in a home studio with very little use to it. I put new heads on it before I went into the studio for an EP project but they have seen very little use from that point on. All the Toms have Evans G2 Clr over Evan G1 Clr and the kick has an EMAD with an ES3 Reso head. After I recorded with it the band essentially dissolved and I switched to bass. Thus, all my funds have now gone towards that.

This kit sounds great and looks great. The Satin finish looks really nice. Before I went into the studio I removed all the hardware and applied a new coat of Tung Oil to the drums and then I polished all the hardware as well. These drums deserved to be played and I hope they find a good home. There are just a few dings tiny dings from normal use but no deep scratches or gouges. The only real blemish with the any of the drums is on the kick drum. The owner before me must have spilled some paint thinner or something on the bottom of the kick drum. It has some run marks on it and lightened the finish at that spot. This is on the very bottom of the kick drum and when the kick drum is in its normal playing position cannot be seen at all. It is only a cosmetic issue too and does not affect anything with the kick.

I also have Protection Racket cases that I'll throw in for $100 more. Protection Racket cases are awesome. They cost a lot but are the best soft shell cases you can buy. When I bought them I got them from www.indoorstorm.com and the bass drum case alone cost me $95.00 plus shipping. So for $100 extra you can protect these drums. Since I didn't gig out with the set that often, these cases are in fantastic shape.

I will also throw in the double tom stand for the floor toms as well as the mount for the 12" tom for a stand.
I can send more pics as need.

I'd like to deal locally if possible, I live north of Philadelphia.
Pricing is $1300 without cases and $1400 with the cases

I'd also be willing to trade for an Ampeg SVT Classic or possibly another all tube bass head.
