Exclamation early '65 Mustang Fastback (A code)

It's been a tough time coming to this decision, but it's time to part with my Pony Car as I need the funds to expand my woodshop and budding bass building venture.

1965 (Oct 1964 build) Mustang Fastback
289 225 HP 4bbl original engine, 3sp manual
113K original miles
Red/Red

This has been garaged since I bought the car in 1993, and I've put less than 10K on it since that time. This was built during the transition time between the '64-1/2 and early '65 models as can be seen in the interior decor. I rebuilt the engine in '94, and it only required a ring job as the worst cylinder was .008" out of factory as new tolerance, several were still to original spec - I couldn't see boring the block out for a .010" over piston ring. Since rebuilding the engine I have driven this less than 5K miles.

If you're looking for a car to take to the shows as a daily driver, you'll be hard pressed to find an earlier A-car build date than this one, as it's one of the first 3000 '65 model fastbacks produced ... and it's an A code car!

PM me for pricing or to make an offer I can't refuse. Many more images available for someone who's seriously interested.

All the best,

R

I got... 3 heavy guage picks, a bluetooth phone headset, and a Hardees jumbo gulp filled with stale dr. pepper and phlegm. It's all yours for the car. Jeebers... that's pretty. Makes me wish you'd take my beetle for a trade.

still up for grabs, as I'm not working my hardest to see this drive away - once it's gone I won't find another one this early in the production again

JJD drop me a PM and I'll shoot you the spec's and asking price

All the best,
