What we have here is a very early Martin Sigma. The model number is GCR-7 and it has a rosewood back and sides and a solid spruce tops. Excellent shape cosmetically and an even better sound. There are a few dings on the body that don't go through the finish, as well as a few chips on the back of the headstock.
This is made in japan and is based off the 000-21 model. The Japanese are excellent copiers (look at those MIJ Squiers and lawsuit guitars and basses!) and this guitar is no exception. Its a killer guitar second only to my actual pre-war Martin. I don't play guitar anymore, and I have bills to pay so this is up on the chopping block.
This one has the desirable paper label from the early Sigmas before they started doing all sorts of things to them to make them cheaper. It also comes with the original leather gigbag. This guitar is from the early 70s (72?)
