I am changing my original listing. Sorry for any inconvenience, but I realized I needed to make a trade, not a giveaway. Here is the info in the hard drive. It is 200 Gig, firewire 400. I used this hard drive only once, for a recording in 2006. The hard drive was purchased new at that time. Since then it has been sitting in a drawer. It is not USB. It only has a firewire hookup. I don't have the original receipts. I have the hard drive, a firewire cord to connect to a PC or Mac, and a power cord for AC wall plug-in. It is in very good condition. I wrote our band's name on it in permanent ink, at the request of the studio at which we recorded the demo.
It was used for Mac originally and I have a PC. I tried to re-format it, but my cruddy PC, which has since bitten the dust, seemed to have trouble with it, some kind of buffer problem. I don't know what that is.
I am looking to trade it for 2 short speakon speaker cables. 2 or 3 feet each will be plenty. The cables don't have to be fancy, and they can be homemade if you are a cable maker.
New EZ Quest extrernal hard drives are about $200 on Mac mall. Granted they are larger than the one I have, but here is a chance to get a very nice used one, gently used, for the equivalent of about $60. Speak-on cables at Best Buy and Guitar Center are about $30 a piece.
