'07 Classic Player Baja Telecaster Guitar
If you know this model, you know it's been called the best Tele Fender's made in years. Parts all manufactured in California and the guitar was designed by the Custom Shop, but assembled across the border in Mexico. Plays like a dream and that's no b.s..
S1 switching with 4-position selector (series + out-of-phase options; series gets a convincing ES335 Larry Carlton/Robben Ford tone), Blonde translucent color, maple board, Twisted Tele neck p/u, vintage Kluson-type tuners, Callaham compensated brass saddles and bridge, tort pickguard (have original black guard) plus a better barrel output jack. Would be in mint/perfect shape if not for one ding on the edge of the body south of the strap pin and north of the input jack. It's not too visible from the guitar's top, but is visible from the side (photos linked).
This was a Telecaser Forum (TDPRI) member's guitar. I bought it and only cleaned it up, threw out the old gig bag because it smelled of cigarettes, did a very minor intonation and adjustment to my liking and have not touched screws since then. Recorded with it and gigged only once with it. Comes with your choice of medium-quality gig bag for $0 extra or an excellent Road Runner gig bag with neck braces and lots of padding for $40 bucks more. PayPal works for me. Located in NYC (Manhattan). Will be very sad to see it go, but I'm liquidating a lot of guitars and basses and this one doesn't see much action now, as I've refocused on bass for now. Please note the serial number has been partially hidden electronically.
