This is depressing. Selling another fantastic instrument to make space in the apartment.
This is a double-cut LP Special with a very nice natural finish and mini-trapezoid inlays. I suppose the finish is meant to be "natural," but it's more of an amber/honey color. Very pretty.
Original Gibson P90
pickups. Incredibly light and resonant guitar: weighs just 5 pounds
, according to my bathroom scale. Plays like a dream. Sounds like a LP Special should. The only thing I don't like is the slim '60s neck profile. I prefer a chunky neck, so I'm keeping my vintage '59 Melody Maker and putting the Special DC up for sale.
The guitar has one huge flaw: missing a big chunk of finish under your arm. The original owner says he tried to peel some stickers off and the finish came up with it. Dumb.
Minimal buckle rash...
Great neck... Asking just $635 shipped, including TKL case.
