This is the uncommon version of the Gibson ES-135 that was only produced for one year before the model was transitioned to the ES-137.
It is a semi-hollow body that features a solid top, a stoptail, and a mahogany center block (rather than the usual balsa).
The sound is traditional semi-hollow (perhaps veering slightly towards a more Les Paul sound at the bridge) while also being much less prone to feedback at higher volumes. Plus, as opposed to "regular" semi-hollows, there is a control cavity on the back for easy access and trouble-free pickup swaps!
The guitar features a pair of Gibson Classic 57/Classic 57 Plus humbuckers. The neck profile is a rounded 1959 Les Paul.
The condition is excellent all around - not a bump, bruise, or ding worth mentioning!
The original Gibson hard case is included.
