Picked up this Zune for work about four years ago. It was used for a few months, for testing purposes, and then sparingly after that. It has not been touched for, probably, the last two years. I did return it to stock settings, and included is the a/v dock, which allows you to hook up speakers or the like, and a "car pack" which allows you to use FM to stream your Zune to your car radio - I tested this a couple times, a long time ago, with mixed results.
When the iPad hit, my company went all Apple, so that meant that I went all Apple. However, I am not tied to any one product and, back when this was released, liked it as much as any Apple player that was out. I still think it is a slick unit - especially for gym use, or the like, but just not useful to me - I forgot that I had owned it.
I don't have the phones for it, at this point - no idea where they may be, but everything else seems to be in place. I did charge the unit and cleared it out, and all seemed to be working as expected. I cannot make any claims about the shape of the battery, but it seemed to be holding a charge and working fine. If you buy it, and find it is not as you expect, I will refund your purchase and you can ship it back to me. It looks Ok to me, though.
