Updated with specs. WiFi antenna needs replacement. It'll work for up to 30 minutes, then cut out. At that point, you have to close the lid for an hour or two to get reception again.

Have you asked the Apple Store how much it would cost to fix the WiFi antenna? Just curious. Thanks.

What kind of battery life do you get?

I found a replacement WiFi card for $20 on eBay. Excellent tutorial for replacing that card can be found here: Installing MacBook Core Duo AirPort Card.

The battery life is ok. Usually it'll last about two hours. The battery indicator on the toolbar is not particularly reliable. Also, the battery HATES airplanes. It'll cut out in 15 minutes once you open it up.

I'm out of this deal. I need longer battery life.

I just noticed you are in Chandler. I was down there the first two weeks of December. I stayed with my cousin. He lives off Gilbert and Markwood. I went over to Bergies Coffee in Gilbert every morning.

Gilbert's a nice town. I spend most of my time in Tempe.
