The Electro-Voice RE20 is well known as the "Industry Standard" in dynamic cardioid microphones. It is a favorite among broadcasters and sound engineers worldwide. It seems like 95% of the people you see on announcing or in a radio studio are using an RE20.
Additionally, it is an outstanding for use with a kick drum or a bass cab.
The MSRP is $750. I'm asking $300 shipped. The lowest store price I have seen is $400.
The one I am selling is in excellent condition, lovingly cared for, and comes in its own case. I am including a mic stand mount I purchased for it (around $35) for nothing extra because I have misplaced the bolt. I think that would be an easy hardware store find, though.
If you wish, I will also toss in a very short ( @ 6"), vintage mic stand which can be used for announcing or to mic a kick drum.
150 Ohms, 26 ounces. It's an investment.
