Very recently pulled from Carvin CS3M is a complete EMG humbucker set-up, 89, 89X-R, EXG guitar expander, VLPF active tone control, solderlessly wired pots, power & jack. Both Vol pots are push/pull coil splitting. While the covers have the appearance of use they are in no way beat up. By the nature of the finish they have a bit of a patina and are not all mirror-like from the start. A rather mellow gold. The only minor issue is that the previous installer hard soldered the pickup leads to the tone control so I had to disassemble it by unsoldering it. The new owner will have to resolder the connection or procure a new pickup connector lead from EMG. Either way it's not that big a deal. The tone pot is clearly labeled with what color goes where and I have hi-res, detailed pics to send as well.

Here are some specs:
EXG Guitar Expander:
Electric Guitar Pickups & Accessories - EMG Pickups | EXG
For flexibility in tone at your fingertips there is no better choice than the EXG Guitar Expander. The frequency response of the EXG is similar to normal guitar amp equalization. The lows and highs are boosted while the mid-range is dipped out. The EXG is great for creating a fuller tone that doesn't get muddy, while keeping it clean and clear, letting your guitar stand out in the mix.
EMG 89
Electric Guitar Pickups & Accessories - EMG Pickups | 89
Featuring two pickups in one, the 89 is loaded with alnico V magnets and has separate preamps each providing custom outputs for both dual coil and single coil modes. In dual coil mode, the sound is rich, warm and powerful, but still very clear and is similar to the 85. The single coil mode, accessed via the included push pull pot, delivers the traditional Strat single coil sound: bright, airy, and chimey, and is similar to our SA. In either mode, the clean sound is gorgeously pristine and has a lot of presence. Used equally in bridge and neck positions, whether you are playing hard rock or smooth jazz, you can get it all with this beautifully balanced and versatile pickup.
EMG 89X-R
Electric Guitar Pickups & Accessories - EMG Pickups | 89XR
This pickup is the same as the 89 but the coils are reversed so that the single coil side is nearer the neck to capture that sweet spot. The X series provide increased headroom giving the voicing an organic and open tone while still maintaining the clarity and response that EMG's are renowned for. X's are best described as bridging the gap between passive and active tone.
The pickups both have gold covers. The “gold” version is the same polished stainless steel cover cap with a gold colored finish that is commonly used to harden machine tools. It is a finish that both hardens the cover cap surface and penetrates the stainless steel substrate, rather than surface coating it as a plating would. This assures a durable, longer lasting surface finish that will stand up to your pounding riffs and all the abuse the road can dish out.
