For some reason the original thread wouldn't let me edit the title to FS, as it was original FT, so I'm starting a fresh thread and deleting the old one.
NOW FOR SALE ONLY!
I have a 1998/99 (according to serial number) American Standard Telecaster in a rare metallic teal finish with a rosewood fretboard up for trade or sale. It has a pearloid pickguard and looks stunning. The pickups were upgraded by the previous owner to a Fender Vintage Reissue neck p'up and a Custom Shop '51 Nocaster in the bridge.
Just got it back from a professional setup and fret dressing to ensure it was in tip top shape for sale. It has a touch of light finish swirling, and one tiny (think the size of a pickguard mounting screw head) surface dent on the back near the bottom of the body that doesn't even go through the finish (I doubt it will be possible to photograph) and a similar sized dark discoloration on the front (Not sure what it is, but it appears to be on top of the finish, so probably removable). I've never gigged with it, only practiced at home in a smoke-free environment.
It plays great, neck is straight, frets lively, and the upgraded pickups really give it a great, classic tele-twang. My tech was blown away by it's range--from the warmth in the neck position to the brightness in the bridge. I'm only making it available because I don't play guitar much anymore--really only for some basic compositional sketchwork at home, and it seems a waste to have such a nice instrument for such a limited purpose. I'd much rather have a nicer bass to add to my stable, and replace the guitar with a cheaper one.
The late 90s were really a great era for the US Fender factory, and this axe isn't just a looker but plays fantastically and sounds amazing as well. Looking on Ebay and GC Used, this ERA of MIA standards seem to be going for $700-1100 depending on condition, so I'm going to say sale price will be
[strike]$900[/strike] $860 shipped OBO, and I'm willing to do a bit less for shipment to the northeast or a local transaction.
At the time of this posting, my feedback is still 0, though I'm expecting that to change in the next 24 hours or so, and I can always link people to my ebay account where I have a 100% positive 48.

Best I could do to capture discoloration on front

Best I could do to capture dent on back, which is directly to the left of the quarter
