What I have here is a 1983 Ibanez RS315 Roadstar 2, This guitar sounds awesome, it has a maple neck, other than the nick on the tip of the headstock the neck is flawless and the frets are great, I've had this guitar for over 20 years and since I'm a bass player it has not been played. The guitar was modified before I got it, a humbucker was added to the neck and another volume knob was added as well as a switch which I think puts in in and out of phase, most of the nicks are on the back or the side the front looks really good as you can see in the pictures, This is a made in Japan not the cheaper made in Korea, it comes with the original hard shell case which is in good shape, there is a little surface rust on the latches but they all work just fine, it also comes with the original whammy bar.the screws holding the back plate are not original .The knobs are not original, they are a little taller than the original one's so in order to put on the whammy bar the bottom tone knob has to be removed, i will add the allen wrench to do this as well as an extra knob..I have descibed this guitar as accurate as I can ...$325 shipped to the lower 48 only, or I.m open to trades guitar or bass ??
