1998 Fender Custom Shop 1960 reissue Stratocaster. Really almost a closet queen, near mint. It has very minor dings here or there: an abrasion on the end of the head stock, one near the top edge as you would hold it, one on the bottom edge, and one on the back. All are very minor and not noticeable unless you are looking for them. The pickups are Kinmans; I do not have the originals. The nut is 1 11/16; the radius I believe is 9.5 as I can bend 4 steps from the 15th on the high E without any fretting out. The neck is a nice medium C; more substantial than a "modern" thin Fender neck but definitely not a baseball bat. Very comfy. Screw in bent saddle vintage style trem.
It is actually my bassist's but I personally got it for him from TGP. He likes it but we are switching off less and less and he would like to put the money towards a nice custom shop or boutique bass. So any really nice bass would be a possible trade. The strat comes with OHSC, some case candy, and the John Page signed COA. This would have been his last year as manager of the custom shop, and of course the John Page era is considered the best of the custom shop. $1999.
