2002 Gibson SG Special with hardshell case. Serial number 02142410...created August 2, 2002 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. I'm the second owner of this guitar. The original owner didn't take very good care of it and didn't keep it in a case. I bought it as a project but lack of funds has forced sale. I tried to get most of the problem areas in the photos. There is a portion of rosewood nicked off at the second fret on the side of the fretboard. There are many surface nicks, dents and scratches on this guitar, but are superficial and do not affect the mahogany beneath the finish. In fact, it looks road-worn and therefore those who like patina would greatly value this instrument. The bridge pickup sits too low for the strings (or bridge is too high?) which may require a bit of adjusting. I had a Seymour Duncan JB installed in the bridge and Seymour Duncan Jazz installed in the neck. Unfortunately, the person who installed them has the wired opposite of what they should be (Rhythm switch = bridge, Lead = neck). I just haven't had the time to correct this. I will include the original Gibson humbuckers and the case I bought for the guitar in the sale.
Asking $400 shipped CONUS. Local pickup also a possibility. I prefer a sale, but will listen to trades (looking for a Yamaha BB615 or a Peavey T40).
