I paid $999 for this about a year ago because i thought i was getting a job that would involve a lot of traveling...i didn't get the job and needless to say i haven't really had any use for this laptop. i'd like to get $500 shipped. i'm actually open to trade for a 5-string bass as well (i could add some cash).

FYI: there is a tiny bit of a glue mark form a sticker that used to be on there...but i'm sure that could easily be removed with some hot water and a cloth.

Does it have a transferable warranty?

i think i only got the 1-year warranty, which is just about up now...so sadly you'd be on your own.

i had someone ask about extending the warranty...i just contacted dell and they told me that my warranty ran out at the end of may and that since it's expired i'm not eligible to extend it...so that sucks.

like i said though, it has been used VERY sparingly and there are no issues that i know of. just wanted to give a heads up on that.
