I bought this new through a music store I was worked at several years ago (I could have proof of purchase forwarded if the need arises). Seafoam Green w/Roswood Fingerboard, upgraded with Fender locking tuners, Suhr V60 Low Peak Pickups (installed by a professional luthier...a $300 upgrade) and Fender white pearloid pick-guard. This guitar looks great, feels great, and sounds great.
Functionally, this thing is tip top. A bit of fretwear, but nothing worisome. Electronics are quiet (for a single coil strat, that is) and work great. Intonation and setup are perfect for how I play. With newer broken in strings, the guitar can stay in tune for days at a time. Cosmetically, it's a little dinged up. Exposed wood on the back edge of the body the size of a unshelled peanut. I sanded down the back of the neck (which I and EVERYONE so far whose played so far absolutely love the fell of).
Would come with a Fender Hardshell Case, original Fender pickups, and whammy bar(if I can find it).
Considering the upgrades, cosmetic condition and the fact that the value of this thing will only go up over time, I'm looking for 1000 in total value.
Trades Considered: Steelstring or Nylon Acoustic Guitar, 4 String Electric Bass Guitar Pickup, certain small/lightweight bass amps or cabinets, new short-scale electric bass guitar strings, pedal sized processing (preamps, compressors, tuners), certain drum machines and synths, reel to reel tape machine, old Macintosh computer system, and certain off the beaten path musical instruments (percussion and ethnic instruments, mostly). |
