I built this guitar specifically to rip out the blues on and to get the classic Strat tone, which this has. Currently set up for 11's, but I can include a set of 9's or 10's if the buyer preferrs. The body colour is, I believe, called Sherwood Green and has a nice translucent blue-green hue. Here is a list of components:
1. Fender American Neck. Serial Number Z012XXXX indiciating a build year of 2000
2. Original Fender Body - light relicing from play (not a screwdriver hack job. Has dents and dings, so you won't be taking your belt of to play this guy but it feels comfortable and looks good).
3. Lindy Fralin Blues Special pickups with reverse staggered bridge pickup that has the desirable brass plate. (
http://www.fralinpickups.com/stratstyleBS.asp) The reverse stagger makes the bridge pickup much more usable in my opinion. The pickguard was specialy cut by Warmoth to allow the reverse stagger. The pickguard is mint green.
