I bought this recently from resident AGF J-45 connoisseur Cozycabin and have been delighted with it. Finances and an upcoming move however are forcing me to liquidate most of my acoustic collection (see my other for-sale ads), so I have to let this one go unfortunately. Condition is as when I received it, it's never left my house. Here's Cozycabin's description which I feel describes the guitar better than I could:
"It's due to a recent acquisition of a phenomenal Custom Brazilian AJ, which I ever so slightly favor to this True Vintage J-45 which was my mainstay since I acquired it end of last year, that I'm offering this 2010 TV for sale.
It is just an amazing menagerie of slope shoulder qualities. This guitar hailed the sale of my Kopp K-35, two John Walker Wise rivers and made the other guitars in my house somewhat disappear to me.
I'll just give you all the adjectives, even, deep mellow, chimy, resonant, super light. It's just a joy to play, the action and setup superb. The pickup compliments this guitar like I've never heard in any guitar that I've owned, dozens. Once I played this with the anthem live, I really can't settle for anything else. I guess translated, that's once you've heard your favorite guitar sound like itself, nothing else will do. I did buff off the VOS garbage, I really don't understand calling not finishing buffing a VOS finish, especially on one of best and more beautiful guitars available.
Truth be told, this is a much better accompaniment instrument than the Brz AJ replacing it, but I'm so enamored with the played in low thunder of the BZ that I'm gonna see how that plays out for a while. I'm just not preferring to divide precious playing time between multiple guitars of a similar type these days. Someone will be thrilled with this guitar. It's an all around dynamo."
