All of the big items are sold, so I'm closing it down.
Not sure how many goalies (if any) are on TB but I thought I would give this a shot.
After 19 years of playing, my body has strongly suggested that I retire from hockey. I have the following items for sale or will trade for bass equipment. Looking for a 4 x 10 cabinet or a P-bass but make offers.
Leg Pads - Smith SP5000: $ 300 SOLD
Black/Silver/White weave - Floor to mid-knee is 20.5". I am the second owner of these pads and they are NOT in like new condition, they've been played in. Hard.
There is a small (2") skate cut on the thighrise of the right pad; there is a seam that needs repaired on thr right thighrise (not related to the skate cut) and the weave is worn on the knee wings of both pads. I've tried to show these in the photos.
Some of the strap buckles are attached with hockey tape. That's how they were when I got them and they've held up just fine for the year and a half that I've had them. You could easily replace the screws if you wanted to. Also, the middle calf strap is missing from each pad.
Also, the original owner's name R. STINE is still on the pads.
Gloves - TPS Bionic Catcher & Vaughn Epic 8000 Blocker: $ 200 SOLD
Black/Silver weave. The catcher is not NHL spec but my league didn't enforce NHL spec on goalie equipment and NOTHING escapes this glove. The blocker was professionally re-covered to match the glove.
Chest/Arms - Simmons Air 991: $ 50 SOLD
A good c/a, that allows good mobility and has served me well. Never been bruised through it.
Pants - Itech 11.8: $ 50
Size XXL
Goalie Cup - Brian's Altramax: $ 25
This thing is bulletproof! Yer boys will thank you.
Skates - CCM V04: $ 100 SOLD
Used 5 times, max. Just couldn't get used to the feel of new skates.
Pics soon.

You can get less expensive equipment but you can also pay a lot more, too. These leg pads were custom made and cost $ 800, new. A pair of Vaughn pads, off the shelf, could cost you $ 1,500.
Thanks for the bump, bdowd.

I have really nice Vantage VS600B I might part with.
BTW..what size are the skates?
I'm in my second year as a goalie, still a rookie. I started at age 45!

Every once in a while I will get one in the palm and it hurts like....well, it hurts. Don't catch with your palm, catch with the pocket.
The skates are 9E. I wear an 11 wide shoe.

Are you interested in my Vantage bass? Lots of pics/info on the net for VS600B.
