Greetings!
My gigbox that I carry mikes in is getting a bit full, so it's time to thin the herd a bit. Got a few mikes that are still perfectly functional, a bit road-worn (some more than others), or just no longer needed for pne reason or another. Here we go!
1.) Studio Projects B3 w/shock-mount stand adapter: Bought this large-diameter condenser for a sound gig a few weeks ago. Features three pickup patterns, -10 dB pad, and bass roll-off. Used it to mike up a kid's bluegrass band. Works great just no longer needed. Doesn't sound quite like a Neumann, but hey, it doesn't cost like it either. Still, it's pretty crisp, defined, and natural-sounding. Bought the mike used, the shock-mount NEW from Sweetwater.com. Planned to use it to mike our fiddle player, but went with a pickup instead. SOLD
2.) Peavey PVM-38. A great overall mike that I've had for years. Screen's a bit dented, paint worn off, but still sounds fine. Been using it recently for snare/hat mike, but I've upgraded that mike to an EV N/D series. How about $37.50 shipped CONUS?
3.) AKG D550. Been using this mike recently for guitar cab but have upgraded to a Sennheiser e609 for the guit. Clean, good condition, sounds pretty good. Recommended for horns and amp cabs. Rather large diaphragm that might work okay for bass as well, but I've never used it on my bass cabs. How about $40 shipped CONUS?
I might consider certain trades, so feel free to hit me up!
Pix up tonight.
