I bought this new a few years ago for a project that never saw the light of day, it probably saw at most 10 hours of use before I put it back it back in its box and its sat in my closet ever since. I thought I might have another need for it someday but that hasn't happened. I know people are favoring laptops solutions these days but this is still a very capable recorder that'll go right from initial tracking to mastering and producing a CD.
You've got 12 motorized fader (will work as a control surface to some DAWS though I can't say I've tried this), 4 effects engines including mastering effects. 8 track simul record (16 with the add-on input card), 24 track playback with 8 virtual tracks per channel and a bunch of other stuff.
