How does this handle distortion? I play everything from classic rock to metal.

Bump for a sweet guitar at an awesome price. Love the maple neck on this one. I've got the semi-hollow version with rosewood neck. Same pickups and all...goes for $600 new, so I'd call this a good deal.

Grizzly: You'd be fine doing classic rock, but nothing near metal distortion. These pickups don't do heavy distortion too well because there's so much definition. It's too "pretty" for heavy stuff I'd call it. They put out some gorgeous sparkling cleans...strum it and every string stands out on its own. Sounds great with light overdrive and some delay. Not to mention G&L gig bags are top notch, too.
