This is a pretty nice gaming laptop. It'll run a lot of games at full resolution and full effects (incl WoW). the latest games are starting to show its limits, so things like starcraft 2 and crysis would need to be run at lower res or less effects.

I upgraded it with a 1920x1200 display (came with 1440x900) and a Core2 Extreme x9100 processor @ 3GHz (came with P8400). It has 4gb of DDR3 ram and a 320gb hard drive that spins at 7200rpm. Graphics are handled by an Nvidia Geforce 9800M GTS w/1gb discrete memory. It has a second hard drive bay, so you can purchase another drive for more space w/o having to use an external drive.

More stuff:
802.11n wifi card
webcam w/mic
hdmi out
headphone jack doubles as optical out (with proper adapter)
eSata port
gigabit ethernet
full size keyboard w/num pad

I believe it originally came with Vista. Unfortunately, i don't have recovery discs for the original setup. I am using a student license for Windows 7 Pro x64, so as another con, i can't include that license for your use.

This means you'll need to provide your own operating system and license. There's also some minor cosmetic damage around the hdmi port and a crack on one corner. Some indents are seen in the rear corners.

This series of laptops sold for $1000 and higher when new. When you figure in the extra $600 for the higher res screen and processor, the value is definitely there.

I'm asking $700 shipped for the laptop with original box and power supply. This is negotiable if you would like me to reinstall the stock processor and display.
