Well, I need money and I haven't really played smallpipes seriously for a good 4-5 years, it's hard enough to keep up with my electric and DB and still make time for GHB (great highland bagpipe). These pipes are a fine instrument and shouldn't go unplayed, like they will if I hold on to them.
These are the standard blackwood with nickel-plated ferrules and imitation ivory everything else. Chanter is pitched at A and comes with a couple extra reeds. Drone reeds are cane, they seem fine, just need a little care from someone who has the time and the inclination. The pipes are in excellent shape.
These go new for about $2000, and that doesn't include shipping from Scotland. I'm looking for $1650, which includes shipping.
