Hi Guys for sale is Mint condition like new Phoenix Audio DRS-1 Microphone Preamp, this unit has seen very little use and has been racked in our studio (smoke free) since we got it.

these sell new for $1449
The faceplate to rack the unit was around $100 more

Wow! I have their dual DI, and it is amazing sounding. If I needed a mic pre, I'd be all over this. I'm sure whoever buys it will be very pleased.

Maybe you should post it over in the DB classifieds too?

I emailed over at Phoenix audio to ask about using this pre in a live bass rig with a Power amp and here is what Shaun said...

"Tom,
There are quite a few people that use the DI input of the DRS-1 in this way. It works very well.

You will find that the DI section is such high impedance that it takes the load off of your pick-ups and you get a richer sound and a lot of the nuances that would normally be lost to standard DI's are enhanced."

Anyway Ive tried running it at home with my carvin DCM1000 and it is sweet!
Yes this also kicks serious butt on vocals!
