FS: Rode Classic II (tube condenser mic)

Sign in to disble this ad
Patterned after the Neuman U47, but at one-third the price.

The Rode Classic II is a hand-built, class A, tube-driven, condenser mic, suitable for nearly any studio application: vocals, acoustic instruments, room, bass, guitars, drums, horns, strings, etc.

Flexible and forgiving, with tweak-able pickup patterns: from omni, to cardioid, to figure-8, with many options in-between.

Mic comes with PSU, birdcage, proprietary cable and flight case. I paid over $1200 six years ago, and it has lived exclusively in my smoke-free home studio ever since.

Also, I JUST got it back from Rode, where it got a complete check-up and overhaul, including new tube and capsule element. It's like a brand new mic!

$1,000 shipped to CONUS.
