FS: Yamaha Natural Sound RX V-1400 Receiver

Used for many years, but babied (and never pushed). This thing is a BEAST for home theater and music. As I've just moved to a place that's just big enough for a mouse (and needing to raise funds for some bass gear), it's available for sale.

Too many specs to list here, but I can tell you briefly that it's 7.1 capable, THX Select certified, and has tons of i/O possibilities. To be sure, this is before HDMI really hit, but it does have optical, digital coax, and other high bandwidth connections. All the specs can be found here: RX-V1400 - Stereo Receivers - Hi-Fi Components - Audio & Visual - Products - Yamaha United States

Condition wise, I'd call it excellent. Some minor scratches here and there, and a bit dusty, but nothing significant and NO cracks or anything like that. Functionally, everything works great. Will include the remote and AM antenna, but I do not have the original box, manual, receipt, or other thingamajigs.

It's pretty heavy (just under 40 pounds when it's all packed up), so shipping would be costly. Selling for 160 dropped to 140 shipped, or 100 down to 80 local pickup/dropoff within reason (Metro West or North of Boston, MA). I'll drive further but you'll be paying extra. Money orders or cashiers checks are strongly preferred, but paypal is okay if the need arises.

Blurry pictures are better than nothing, right? For whatever reason, the picture of the back came out sharp. My camera's auto focus is really tough to use...
