FT: Gibson Les Paul Custom

Ok guys I have for trade here a 1981 Les Paul Custom in Cherry Sunburst. The top is super vibrant on this one! This guitar is in great shape with typical acceptable player wear.

Wear spots inclued a couple thin patches on the back of the neck over the 3rd and 5th fret with a thin thumbline between the 3 frets that is not through the nitro but is making the finish more translucent. On the 3 pc top where the pieces join the finish has settled a little into the joints, very typical for trans finishes. A little light worming on the back but nothing through the nitro so they're not visible, you have to rub to feel them.

Center stripe on the neck has some flamey figuring. Nice low action and plays like a dream. Condition wise id give it a cosmetic 7.5 out of 10 for its age. Has a Dimarzio pickup in the bridge, its pretty high output but sounds quite nice. the neck pickup is the original Tim Shaw HB inkstamped. original other than the dimarzio. Frets are still 100% original. Comes with brand new white plush lined gibson hardshell case, RS Guitarworks speedknobs, 1 amber, 1 creme and 1 black toggle knob. weighs in at 10lbs on the bathroom scale

61' Les Paul/ SG reissues
Early 70's late 60's SGs- vibrola/trem prefered-stopbar ok- no Bigsbys
may consider 2fer if you have a Standard and Classic.

Whats not to love. I think Norlin era LPs are the bees knees. Yeah its up over there, im a member there as well. Ive had it up there a couple days an have gotten a ton of offers just nothing ive fell in love with. I love this LP so im in no rush, ill wait for perfection
