| Ibanez Artist 105-AV from 1982

For sale is a 1982 Ibanez Artist AV-105 with gorgeous burled mahogany top. The guitar recently had $200+ of work done by Mark Herbert in Boston, who is Pat Metheny's personal tech. It now plays as well as any guitar I've ever played. A few tiny nicks and mild scratches on the back, and gold plating is of course a bit worn.
This guitar sustains for days and days and days and can sound just massive or rich, clean and snappy and warm. It's all original, except for maybe the bridge pickup as it uses a 2 screw mounting system where there should be 3 on guitars from this era. The solder joints and wiring appear identical on the 2 pickups to me, perhaps some mix n match at the factory? it sounds extremely similar to the neck pickup. Includes tattered but awesome original case.
$740 shipped to the lower 48 via PayPal, packed very well. I guess run trades by me, but I'm really looking for cash right now as 2010's gear expenditures were a bit nutty. Thanks all.
