iMac 20" 2.16 Intel Core Duo - Bad power supply.

Sign in to disble this ad
White early 2006 model. 20" 2.16mhz intel core duo. Needs power supply.
Screen is fantastic, motherboard has no problems, graphics card is dandy, 250gb hard drive has been low level wiped and only needs osX installed once the powersupply is fixed.

Internal DVD drive is shaky and often does not eject correctly, so I'll include an external DVD/CD Drive.

Keyboard, cord, etc. and original iMac box. I think it has 2gb of ram, but I'll double check that.

I was going to just part it out on ebay (which would net more money overall), but thought I'd give some techy here a shot at it if they wanted it whole minus the power supply.

$325 shipped

Will add photo's of actual machine tonight, but it's in excellent condition other than the internal's mentioned above.

Updated to note that the stock 250gb hard drive now is included as I used a G5 tower at work to low level format the internal iMac hard drive.

I am interested... By power supply do you mean battery or outlet charger?

The iMac is not a Laptop, it is a desktop and looks like this http://xtreview.com/images/imac-full-front-20inch.jpg

Power supply is deep inside the iMac. Replacement/Mod work is not for the unexperienced or feint of heart to try to replace. Involves removing the case, and screen and such. Not as bad as working on the current silver iMac's, but definitely more involved than doing repair work on a typical desktop PC machine.

The white models run music things like Garageband, Logic, etc very well. I'm a professional designer and have used that home machine for many things design wise at nights and on weekends. Very versatile machines.
