Inlaid Cutaway Acoustic Guitar

For sale is one of the import inlaid acoustics you see on eBay all the time.

As you might know, quite a few of these come equipped with interesting problems. Some of these might be QC, some might be the work of "apprentices" and some might be shipping, etc. But there is often a decent guitar in there somewhere.

This guitar has been reworked by a professional luthier. He did the following:

- re-profiled the fret board near the neck joint, eliminating issues due to swelling of the fretboard / joint / glue, etc.

- half refret job

- dressed all frets

- buffed out some haziness in the top

- made a very weak cosmetic repair (low QC at my request) to a small area under the neck where the finish had begun to "sweat off"

In the end, this is a really nice playing guitar. It has a pretty small volume, as you wold expect from a pretty compact cutaway. A very nice bright chimy, sound on it own though. Seems to find its place when played next to other acoustic instruments. I agree with guy that worked on it that it would probably work well with a pickup.

Neck is kind of chunky, think Les Paul (or P Bass).

I believe it is spruce / mahogany. Deep OM sized. Inlays look hand done. A couple of chips and wear marks, but all decent guitars get those at some time.

Someone gets a deal while I get to cover medical bills. Gotta love these times.

$250 shipped in the lower 48. Will throw in a nice hardshell case for $60. It is in great shape, despite a quite a few stickers. (Which will be thrown in for free).

Here are the stock photos of it. I could take some new ones, but it might take a day or so to get that done.

Really, this is a good guitar that all your band mates will want to try out.
