OK Jaco Fiends, here are a few nuggets from the time before DVD! All are in great shape and play fine. I consider them collector's items, but I'm not a collector. I have been cleaning house on this kind of stuff and TB gets first shot at it.
Barry Finnerty & N.Y. All Stars with Jaco Pastorius Vol 1 and Vol 2
Two VHS Tapes, original
IIRC this is the old TB listing:
http://www.talkbass.com/forum/archiv.../t-176641.html
It is definitely the same material as described in that post. VHS Blanks with adhesive labels. I don't see a lot of information about these. What they are is single camera shot video of Finnerty, Stern, Pastorius, and Morales (drummer, not really seen on camera). The second tape is more of the same with some guests like Al Foster. They are 2hr long vodeos and are both filled with 2 hours of Jaco jamming with this group. IMO, this is interesting, but a completists thing as opposed to a pro-shot video that you want to watch often.
