This was an insurance replacement for a different kindle that broke, so it is brand new. Still has the factory startup screen and protective plastic. USB cord is included.
I do have a leather Amazon case if you are interested as well. There is a bit of residue left on the inside from tape, but it wouldn't be visible if the Kindle was inside.
