Laptop RAM - 4 GB DDR3 1333MHz PC-10666 (2 sticks of 2GB)

I just bought a new Macbook Pro and purchased 8GB of RAM to drop in it. The laptop came yesterday, as did the RAM. Booted it up and did the initial setup on the MBP, shut down, switched out the RAM and put the original 4GB back in the package that my upgrade came in. So this was verified to work and used all of 30 minutes before I took it out and upgraded.

These are 2GB sticks (qty 2), DDR3 1333MHz PC-10666 SO-DIMMs. All the RAM I ever took out of my Macs has said "Hynix" on it. Not sure if that's the brand or what, but it's whatever Apple uses standard in all their configurations.

Been a while bump.

Turned 30. Went on vacation. Flight home cancelled from Tropical Storm Maria. Rebooked and flew home on 9/11. Wasn't my first choice for sure, but it worked out. Back at work and the world is turning again, even if I'm a bit groggy!

Now somebody buy this so it's not on my coffee table giving me neglected, longing looks! Or trade me something cool, I don't care!

According to Crucial's Memory Advisor, they won't. Your laptop uses DDR2 RAM and this is DDR3. They are not interchangeable.
