Marshall Half Stack 1970s $1600 Local PU.

I'm selling my Marshall half stack. To the best of my knowlege the 50 watt head Model 2204, is from 1979. EL 34 output tubes. The cabinet is from 1974 and has four Celestion "Cream Back" speakers. The plastic used for the back ring has faded to a whiteish colour. Thus the cream back designation. It's not a museum piece but it plays great. People are nowadays paying to have someone beat up their gear so it looks like it has Mojo. This amp really has mojo.

And high gain. Over drives nicely without a pedal. Like a Marshall should.

Loud enough for any individual with any attachment to reality yet lighter that the 100 full stack. And really, how many places can you crank a 100 watt full stack up and feel the roar.

I'm located mere minutes from Exit 37 on Rt 80. If this piece interests you drop me a line.

Just an FYI: The head is actually a model 2204 (50 watt, 2 input, master volume). The 1987 model is a 50 watt, 4 input, non-master volume amp.

Both great amps, but different.

Good luck with the sale.

Cheers!

Thanks fror the correction. I used Fenders for years but succumbed to lure of Marshalls recently. Relativley speaking. I'll be keeping one but one needs to go.

Wish I could keep em both.
