Music Man Sting Ray Belt Buckle

Sign in to disble this ad
Here's an original 1976 brass belt buckle in the shape of a Music Man Sting Ray!! I bought it brand new at a country fair somewhere in CT.

Its been a long time since I had the type of belt where you can change buckles so its time to move this along to a MM fan.

Here are the pics:

$25 plus shipping, Paypal OK. I prefer USPS Priority Mail flat rate so shipping wont be expensive at all.

OOps- forgot to say, price is OBO and I ship CONUS only

*sighhhhhhh* If only it were a 5-string.....

Actually, that's really cool, never saw anything like that before. Too bad I don't have any belts that I can change the buckles.

Free "that's freakin' cool!" bump.

FYI, you can get snap on belts in any flavor you like for cheap at belts.com or on the Bay. I just bought one for the old buckle my dad just gave me.

Great older buckle!

My current buckle (RCA) looks like pewter:

When I was in HS (77-80), I had a SLEW of buckles, mostly beer-related when the drinking age was 18!!

This is the only one I still have and I just think its time for someone else to enjoy it.

I gotta say though, it was a cool counterpoint when I had my pre-EBMM Ray!!
But I dont think I ever wore this particular buckle when I was playing ANY bass. I think the headstock on this baby would do some damage to the back of the bass you were playing ATM.

EDIT: Forgot to add, we have a mega busy weekend at hand. I probably wont be online much (if at all) until Sunday night. So please keep that in mind if you want to make an offer. I'm not ignoring anyone, I just wont be available.
