Neonate Hogg Island Boas for sale

Sign in to disble this ad
3.3 2.2 neonate Hogg Island Boas (Cayos Cochinos Island Honduras) B.c. imperator

$150 each shipped or $250 per pair shipped.

The adults are 4 years old and the female is barely 4 ft and the male is just over 3 ft so these are a true dwarf Boa Constrictor with a natural hypomelanistic appearance. The adults are shades of pink, orange and sky blue and the neonates already have pink and orange coming in. These Boas change coloration throughout the day.

The neonates were born July 1st and all have had at least 6 meals. The litter consisted of 7.8 total of which I am holding back a trio, Barry Miller acquired a pair and the other two pairs have been sold locally.

The photos were taken indoors with a flash.

Sire

Dam

This one is rather unique

The adults came from Randy Wright. They were his 06 unrelated holdbacks. I had some Gordon Schuett animals at one point but I think this may be the nicest pair of adults I have ever had.

Flying.....they are my favorite boas....next to Clouded boas which at one point I had 4!!!! Hog Islands dont get huge....make great pets...and captive bred animals like thses, especially the bloodline represented , tend to be tame and manageable! I have also been breeding reptiles for approximately 25 year.........I got out 10 years ago..2001 and got back in in 2005 for 3 years and out right after my most recent child was born........at one point I had a climate controlled room with about 90 adult snakes..........good lord I miss snakes!

BIG BUMP

Oh man I love B.c.nebulosa! I am also a big fan of B.c.amarali and B.c.longicauda both of which I should produce next year. I also have some het Leopard Soronan Mexican Boas which should go in two years and some Miller line Surinam's the same year.

I agree, Hoggs are wonderful underrated animals.

The addiction never goes away. Let me know if you are interested in a pair and I will hold them for you as long as you want.
