Nice Jay Turser Archtop Hollowbody Jazz Guitar

I really hate to get rid of this guitar but I just don't play it. I have fully givin' up on both the bass and guitar and puttin' all my focus back into drums. This is too nice of a guitar to just sit in a corner.

I wanted somethin' to be like Scotty Moore's Gibson Super 400. This guitar is huge! The body depth is 4". The widest point of guitar is 17". I'm not sure about the scale length. I was told it's a 25.5" scale when I bought it. But most of the Jay Turser Hollowbodies are 24.75" scale. Maybe this one is a 25.5" since it's a nice Gibson copy? I really don't know? I don't know alot about guitars but it feels good to me and plays nice.

I believe it was new old stock. It has a nice tobacco burst finish with flame and gold hardware. The inlays are very nice pearloid with abalone. The tailpiece shows some tarnishing as well as the tuners. I was told gold hardware tends to do this.

You must see this guitar to really appreciate it. I added a tortoise pickguard and gold knobs to give it a more vintage look. The original black pickguard and speed knobs will be included. There is no case with this guitar, it didn't come with one.

I would like $325 shipped to lower 48 states only. I might negotiate a little if buyer is serious.

Thanks,
Steve

What's the model number? I'm keeping my eyes open for a hollowbody, and I'm in Nashville.

You should come check out one of my shows sometime. I play Murfreesboro and Nashville quite a bit.

I can't find a model number. I think it's a JT-146 though.

If you are interested, I could make you a better deal since there will be no packing and shipping. Just let me know...

I might be interested in a cheaper bass + cash deal. Would prefer a SX Pbass or Jazz. A 5 string SX Jazz would be nice too.

Thanks,
Steve

You know what I have is a Fender jazz fretless parts bass. It was put together by RedsFan75. You can go to his post about Jazz bass build. I think that is the title or something similar. I just don't play this bass at all and would love to swap with you. Is the guitar decent quality? I know some of the JT peices are well just crap. So tell me what you think bout this swap. It would do me good to get me bare chords in rare form!!!
Sincerly,
Dan

I can't do fretless. The guitar feels good and sounds good to me. But, I have never played any higher end guitars like Gibsons. It feels just as good as a Epiphone Dot (335 copy) I onced owned.

Final price drop is $285 shipped to lower 48 states. That's $250 + $35 s/h. Or if you're local, I will meet you at Guitar Center in Nashville to try her out. The price will be $250 firm.

Thanks,
Steve
